Cla-Val Pacific, a leading manufacturer of automatic control valves, is thrilled with its new 1100m2 manufacturing and warehouse facility at Portlink Industrial Park, according to the company’s regional manager, Glynn Nuthall.
“The key factor in our decision to choose this site was Portlink’s location adjacent to the Lyttelton Tunnel road which offers unparalleled ease of access for our operation’s exports to clients across the Asia-Pacific region”, said Nuthall.
Cla-Val Pacific celebrated the opening of its new premises at the 30 hectare development with an official opening ceremony in early March. Guests at the official opening included Christchurch Mayor Lianne Dalziel and CEO of the Canterbury Employers Chamber of Commerce, Peter Townsend.
Development Manager, Michael Pike, said that it was exciting to have Cla-Val Pacific opening its doors alongside existing tenants such as Kathmandu and NZ Express Transport.
“With the first two stages of the development complete, we are pleased to have such a great mix of well-regarded businesses established on site”, said Pike.
Elastomer Products Limited is also due to open its new premises at Portlink within the next month.
Portlink Industrial Park is being developed in eight stages, with stages three and four currently nearing completion.
